NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital wanted to engage consumers and talk about some of the innovations they work on everyday. But as fascinating as medical science is, not everyone speaks science. So the challenge was to communicate the magic, but make it easily digestible, and definitely memorable.

Originally scoped as web-only content, our client soon realized the power and potential of the work, and we launched on the Super Bowl. (Like, in between Doritos and Bud Light or something.) Our launch spot was named 'The Most Design-Savvy Super Bowl Commercial' by Fast Company magazine.

  • "Unmasking a Killer" / The first film in the series introduces the public to the science and mechanics behind new immunotherapy treatments for cancer patients – and the hospital's role in making these innovations possible.

  • "Cracking the Code" / The second in the series dives into the fascinating and promising world of precision medicine, and shows how their own physicians' innovations within the field of gene therapy have led to entirely new ways to fight cancer.

  • "Journey to the Heart" / The third film in the series explains how NewYork-Presbyterian's physicians invented a game-changing procedure called TAVR, which makes it possible to completely replace a valve in a patient's heart without the need to perform open heart surgery.
